What personal data is collected?
The customer register stores the following information: first name, last name, street address, postal code, city, country, email address, phone number, preferred language and currency used when placing the order. For business customers, we also collect the company name, business ID and VAT number. Additionally, order data such as order content, payment method, and delivery method are saved in connection with online purchases.

How is personal data used?
Personal data is used for:

• Managing customer relationships
• Order processing, delivery, and archiving.
• Statistical purposes
• Marketing purposes

The legal basis for processing personal data is a contract, consent, or legitimate interest. The processing of personal data complies with the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), effective from May 25, 2018.

How long is personal data stored?
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes of the register. In some cases, we may retain data for a longer period as required by legal obligations, such as accounting and consumer trade regulations.

Disclosure of data to third parties
We disclose personal data to our logistics and payment partners to enable the functioning of our online store.

This statement provides more detailed information on what data is collected and how it is stored. Customers provide their personal information when ordering BEEA Design products from www.beea.fi. The information we receive typically includes name, phone number, company or organization name (if provided), shipping address, and email address.

We do not use customer data for profiling. Customer data is used for shipping orders, which means that the information is also shared with the postal service. A phone number and email address are required for parcel tracking and notifications. Customers also receive an order confirmation and shipping notification by email. (If you do not receive these emails, please check your spam folder.)

We do not use customer data for marketing purposes, except for those who have subscribed to our newsletter—they may occasionally receive one. These newsletters are sent to the provided email addresses.

We value your privacy and treat your data with confidentiality.
Your information is stored for the duration of the customer relationship and according to accounting law requirements. As a customer, you have the right to:

• Object to the processing of your personal data
• Request deletion of your data.
• File a complaint

You may request all information we have stored about you. Please note that fulfilling such a request may take up to 30 days.
